I picked up my first f pen today. It's nothing special but it feels good in my hand and writes fantastic! It is a black Waterford Marquis Claria. I will post some pics a bit later.

Well done! The world of fountain pens will become very familiar to you from now on I predict! It would be great if you could do a review and some pictures. It would be nice to have a data base of pen reviews I think. I am preparing some, first will be my Nakaya when I pick it up tomorrow!

I've owned a few and love them. Like a Lays potato chip...you can't own just one.

Congratulations Josh!

Happy writings to you! I hope to pick up a nice FP & RB set someday soon, then I need to get practicing on my penmanship BIG time!

Show us some examples of your writings once you are adjusted to your new instrument.

Congrats!!

I also picked up my first fp about a week ago. And I have to say I enjoy writing more since I got it.

What kind of ink did you buy?

Thanks everyone. Richard, that is the exact pen. I must say, I have taken notes with it all day on the job and it never failed me once. I don't forsee myself doing anything terribly fancy with it but it seems reliable and has a nice feel to it. As for the ink that I am using, to be honest I am not to sure because it came with the well in it. I'm pretty sure that I will give some different inks a try in the future. I will say this though......this has brought a little more joy out of writing for me. I had a mild interest in pens when I was younger but somewhere along the line the interest faded a bit. I think TRF is responsible for rekindling that spark lol. As I stated earlier, I will be sure to post some photos as soon as I get a chance. It's been a busy day for me.:cheers:
