No room for ties here. Also no room for "well I like this, but if it were not in my collection then. . ." No hemming, no hawing - you only get to list one pen. Make it a good one! :read: :bye:

Good question.
At present my choice would be Mont Blanc Agatha Christie Fountain Pen. Although there are many more more expensive, I find this my favorite.

Well, not the BEST photos, but here she is! The "Constellation" by David Oscarson is my favorite of his pens. I have only recently reunited with her, as she was missing for a few months... oh, it was heart wrenching, the thought that I'd actually lost it! I keep it as a rollerball all of the time, and it is my "travel pen" which is how I ended up "losing" it.

13 layers of hand-made colored glass enamel in the style of Faberge. No glue, each layer holds the next in place. There is nothing synthetic in any of his pens, all natural materials!

Hi Faith,
I only have one fountain pen, a Waterman. My son Ashley gave it to me on Father's Day 2004. It has been sitting in my 'special drawer' for 5 years next to a bottle of Watermans ink. You have inspired me to fill it up and use it. It has a screw plunger? style but I think I also have some disposables that fit.
It's not in the same league as some I have seen but it is special.
Thank you very much - it writes nicely.
Now I need to practice taking pix of pens.
