NJ GTG end of December early Jan?

Hey guys, since this spun off on a thread not originally intended for a NJ GTG, I started a dedicated one.

I was thinking it'd be fun to have a little WIS GTG in NJ for members in the area (but it need not only be limited to just Rolex).

Guys, sorry, have been a bit busy. For those interested so far, are Friday nights better or Saturday?

These are the slots left for this month: 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th

Venues I have in mind are in NE Bergen County, however, since we do have a few folks from NY, Manhattan can be an option as well. Finalized location will only be disclosed via PM.

Sorry, I don't see an option to add a poll so please reply with a date/location so we can hopefully narrow this down (e.g. 15th / NJ or 23rd / NY, etc.).

Hi Tim, since i"m in Jersy I would prefer a NJ location but it won't stop me from going to Manhattan, just more convenient. As for date, any will do :thumbsup:

Just as an aside, there will be a sizeable GTG in February in New Brunswick. You can check it out at Paneristi.com :cheers:

Faith if it is in North Bergen you are looking at approximately 90 miles +/-...... Its not a bad drive, I have done the drive from North Bergen to Philly a few times for work and it was long but not that bad since its not my everyday commute :thumbsup:

OK guys, sorry about this but let's shoot for the 30th instead so I can pick new locations. The original place I had in mind has gotten really bad reviews for 2009 so far (last time I went there was back in 2005 or so and it was quite good then).

I'll be looking at venues in NE Bergen County that is reasonably close by the bridge to accomodate NY folks as well.

I'll shoot PMs by tomorrow with the new locations and we can then take a vote offline. If you have suggestions, please send them to me via PM only. Again, this is for the safety of those attending.

hey tim i'll shoot u an email i know a great place in jersey not far from ny. its a korean buffeti think all you can eat price was 25 for dinner. lots of different choices in food.

Of course, they're not certain whether the snow storm will be major or minor. If the pattern shifts north then major but if south then relatively little to no snow.

UPDATE: So the on-again, off-again, on-again GTG is now off-again due to a few members prior commitments.

We're now aiming for Fri/Sat nights between mid-March and early April. When date is finalized, I will update this thread and send out emails/PM's.

I'll be in for a NJ meet, as long as it's well in advance so I can get a few days off work ( I have ONE MORE mini vacation from work in October). If not as long as I have at least a month or so in advance I can always take a long weekend :)
