The bracelet doesn't look right, aren't the links towards the case suppose to be a little thicker and then get thinner as you get towards the clasp? They all look the same to me...never seen that style box before either :thinking:

Ok, I see it now that I look at it again, what about the box? I have an E series Gmt which is 1990 and my box is different, also the hologram on the tag looks obround.

Do not worry about the box or tags its the Rolex watch that counts. Have you had it authenticated, if not do so, it is a piece of mind.

Most Ebay scams are using real boxes with fake watches.

Yes, I have had my GMT authenticated, I just haven't seen that style box before with an E series watch, but you're right, it's the watch that counts.

That box is from the wrong era :banghead: the serial above dates the watch around 1990 yet that box was not introduced until 2005.

Now for the fun, why is there an bezel insert for an SS watch on a YG :thinking:

For a 1990 16618 the rehaut is incorrect.
