Looking for Retail on a Base Luminor/Steel PAM 00122 and Luminor GMT PAM 0088.
What discount can be expected from the ADs of Panerai ?
Hows the used/resale value ?
What can one expect to pay for the above two models used ?

Thanks .

I can only give CDN pricing as I don't have a US list and keep in mind, our prices are stoopidly higher than US.

Firstly, I believe the 122 is out of production, so you'd have to pick it up used and I'm unsure of prices, but www.paneristi.com and their FS section may help. The 122 was a chrono, not a base and the current chrono, a BNIB chrono, a 250, for example is CDN$7800.

The PAM88 is CDN$6150.

If you want a base, a 000logo is CDN$4000 or a 112 base is CDN$4400.

Generally ADs don't discount Pannies because demand outstrips supply. HOwever you can usually get them to throw in an extra strap or two. OEM gators are over US$200 a pop, so that helps.

Resale value is very good and I would say percentage wise, better than say on a Rolex. Panerai only produce 35,000 units a year, so they're less common than say a Rolex, which pumps out about a million units a year. If you list a FS on a panerai specific forum, you'll usually get a very good return.

Example, I could sell my PAM01B right now for close to US$4500, but when it was brand new, it went for about US2500. That's an exception cuz the B series is getting very desirable, but gives you an idea.

I am to please! My advice is always free and if you aren't 100% satisfied, I offer a full money-back guarantee. :chuckle:

BTW, if buying used, you can usually pick up a base on paneristi for around US$2700-3100 depending on age and condition.
