Thanks for sharing! Very nice from Tudor.

Was wondering, what's the significance of the orange highlight from 5 to 10 mins on the minute elapse counter? Cheers,

Looks fantastic -- I love vintage Tudors, but haven't been crazy about a lot of their recent offerings. This really hits the mark. I am curious to see what its MSRP is though.

Really need to get one of these. And yes, I mean need.

I think I prefer the gray dial but both are stunning. A huge win for Tudor at Basel 2010.

Hi Steve

I spoke with my "contact" (wink wink) and methinks they are very close.

Price guestimate in the region of AU$5K. So how about we do a group buy! he he

PS. In the meantime, if anyone is interested, I have put a 32 page PDF of Tudor history here www.grima.com/rolex_and_tudor.html (http://www.grima.com/rolex_and_tudor.html). While you're there, go to the Downloads page and grab the Tudor screensaver I made... I use it myself, it's SPECTACULAR, even if I do say so myself :agree:

I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to get one (b/c no Tudor dealers in the US), maybe a trip over the border to Canada is in order.

I'm definitely NOT paying over list price for one. From what I hear Tudor will be cranking out lots of these, so I just have to be patient....

Those photos look inconsistent in one respect.

If you look at the bevelled edge along the side of the watch case on the second photograph it looks flaired as it approaches the tip of the lug.

That flairing doesn't seem to exist on the other photographs.

Just wondering

Wow 42mm...........this is getting into Panerai proportions :twit: :chuckle:

42mm is huge, I hope it doesn't feel like a boat anchor on the wrist :banghead:

I don't understand why the dial is released in gray, what is it about gray?

Did anyone notice that this watch has a very slightly modified Oyster bracelet......I'm wondering if there is going to be some super cool clasp to go with this bracelet.........I haven't seen any photographs of the clasp

Oh and one more thing.........notice no polished centre links

Still a very interesting buckle even for the NATO strap

The finishing of the nylon edges just on the NATO looks really good quality, NATO straps aren't usually not finished with a stitched edge like that.

The buckle looks pretty cool too.

I'm interested to see what the steel bracelet clasp looks like too :agree:

...interesting that the Mods/owner of TRF are maybe a little interested in a TUDOR???

I do not think this piece will be too big on the wrist of most guys. You never know 42 mm may be the new 40 mm.... :twit: :dummy:

Thankfully, Tudor kept the 'heritage' feel with no polished center links.... :dude:

I am definitively in on this one but probably after the hype (and probably price) dies down.

Speaking of bracelets and straps, with the watch coming with both a bracelet and a strap and with no lug holes permitting relatively easy switches, might Tudor have come up with some form of easy bracelet switch mechanism? And, thinking ahead, might that be seen in Rolex some day?

Or, are we looking at the choice of needing tools, masking tape and a delicate hand or going to a local jeweler in order to switch between the two? :banghead:

Is it possible to order just the Heritage fabric strap from Tudor? It would look great on my green-handed GMTIIC. I wish Rolex would make an official line of straps.
