Hopefully we will be on our own dedicated server very soon,but it all take time to transfer everything.And to make sure its all working etc Steve is working quite hard,but it take time so please be patient.Now when we do move the forum will be down for several hours to transfer the data base.But there will be full warning of this so watch this space.

It shouldn't be slow anymore, because this is now on a new server with better speed (fingers crossed).
Really, it should be significantly faster now and for the foreseeable future! :)

It might have been a momentary issue, when I was looking at possibly editing a file. But this server is much faster in my experience. Keep trying and tell me what you find.

When I use my 236kbps and 1.8Mbps wireless connection its VERY slow.When I use my 56k dial up for this forum its much faster .. :thinking: :thinking: On ANY other website my fast wireless is MUCH faster,like it should be.

Unfortuanately my dial up is much more expensive,compared to the wireless.I will just have to spend less time on this forum.Very simple.I dont have the time to wait minutes for the next page to open.Simple.Thats unfortuanate.

Could you do something? Go to 'Start > Run' and type CMD, hit enter. In the DOS prompt type "tracert rolexforums.com" with no quotes. After it completes, right click the blue title bar of the dos box and go to 'Edit > Select all', right click the title bar once more and go to 'Edit > copy'. Then paste the contents of the trace route here. It would be interesting to see a trace route from your dial up AND your broadband. Here is what mine looks like:
