I may have told you that we are a tennis family...and take our racquets everywhere. When we go to Maui we stay in Wailea, but I play at some great public courts in Kihei, and my 10 year old, Chloe, is now running me around the courts petty good. I look forward to those morning tennis times with her or Tamara over the beach and all the other stuff over there. That seems to be what I remember from these trips.
If any of you are ever in Medford and play Tennis, let me know and I will sponser you at my club, The Rogue Valley Swim and Tennis Club. We have 5 beautful indoor courts, one championship outdoor court, and 2 clay courts.

Sounds nice, Art. Unfortunately, I stopped playing tennis years ago, when my eyes started to go. I am very nearsighted in one eye and far sighted in the other, so my depth perception is shot to hell. :bawling:
I used to play in my youth and really enjoyed it. I mostly preferred playing against a wall at our local elementary school. The best part with that was that the wall hardly ever missed.
One of the last times I played was in the Bahamas in July about 25 years ago. It was hot as hell but I was out on the courts in the middle of the day with another crazy. We must have sweated off 10 pounds running around the court in the blazing sun, but I loved it.

The new racquet technology is great with great choices for finesse or power or both. When I watch those old tennis tapes of Conners playing so well with that little Wislon 2000 metal racquet I can only imagine what he would have been like with one of the newer Wilson, Head or Bobolat racquets of today.
I love the game. I played golf in high school and college and then got grass allergies and my motivation for golf waned although I miss that game. But tennis gets me more exercise and makes me sweat more so I guess that is good.

I now do the cold 12 oz. curls siting on the patio :) :) :) Just have to remember to switch arms every other time what a bummer.

I discovered long ago, D, Exercise is hazardous to your health. As a result I stay as far away as possible from that kind of stuff. :agree:
