Whatcha think. I was trying out a split neutral density filter on the first two.

Bruce like them all but, the first two are just to soft and the last is alive. I know it's not the correct terminology.

Earl, I know what you mean. I just downloaded a sharpening plugin for photoshop that comes hightly recommended by a pro I read alot. It's bloody fantastic! From what I've been reading, Canon's philosophy, especially on the higher end digitals, is to produce a rather "soft" image in order to preserve overall quality, keeping the noise down, and also to give the photographer creative control in post processing. All the pros I've read have said that post processing is just a fact of life in digital.

It's something I didn't realize until recently. I didn't even know about sharpening and wondered why my images were so "soft".
