Ok well here goes.
So i purcahsed a Rolex DJ online from Perfect-Timing.biz. Not sure if anyone has herd of them or anything. I trusted my instincts on this one, because when i typed in the google search "ROLEX FOR SAL ONLINE" There company came up first with a google check out. So i thought they were ligit because there company was on top for googles search. Im pretty sure the company has to be paying google a pretty good ammount for advertising. Well anyway so i go for and search around and figure its pretty ligit. So i order the Mens DD High polish silver with custom diamond BEZEL ( On page 2 Mens Date just Top LEFT High polish custom diamond bezel). So i recieve the watch 2 mournings later * i didnt sleep waiting for UPS to show* so i recieve my watch i look it has the paper work with some numbers on the top right. 1 I noticed that the title for the rolex was NOT in ENGLISH it was in a different language. I Took it to 1 store they take off the bad and they look @ the title and say the numbers match up. 2. They take the test of the diamonds and they are real. 3. BIG PROBLEM THE WATCH'S SECCOND HAND IS NOT MOVING.!!! SO THE watch is NOT telling time at all. I contact company they seem pretty cool about everything and say they will issue a reffund the same day they recieve the watch. So sent it back that SAME DAY.!!! Well its been about 7 buissness days and they still havent sent me back my money i paid VIA VISA. I contacted my bank letting them know i might have gotten frauded and told them to stop the payment because it hadent gone threw at the time. They told me that just send him back the item that they CANT stop payment to the company. That i will juts have to wait and see if he refunds me the money if not i have to call back the banks FRAUD department. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
This REALLY REALLY SUCKS im so LOST HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO.!!!@:dummy:

I would keep on your bank's back, go down to your bank in person and file a written complaint. Also contact VISA and tell them you want the transaction stopped.
It might take a little time. Have you contacted the seller to see what their attitude is on the telephone? Have they received the item back and are they processing your refund?
Good Luck

Hi and welcome.
From what I can understand is that they sent you a watch which is completely original, although not working.
If you have proof that you sent the watch back I would not panic too quickly, if they were real frauds, you would have gotten a cheap knock off imo.
Maybe something got mixed up or just takes longer to process, happened to me too, paying with VISA and after 10 days! the payment was received apparently.
Concerning the non English, just delivered to a country not being USA or UK?

If you paid by VISA, you should be able to call the credit card company (the card issuer) and dispute the transaction. The company will immediately put a hold on the payment pending a resolution of the dispute.

It can take VISA up to two weeks before it shows up on your statement. Debiting is instant while crediting takes longer :banghead:
Just keep all your documents for proof.
Regarding your google research - does not mean that the company is at top of Google's hit means they are legit. Always do your research ie. if anyone has dealt with the company before. Do they have a store (brick and mortar store). Check watchnet.com for anyone who's had dealing with them.
Sometimes its hard to stop yourself and sit back and see what's happening with all the whirlwind of emotions pushing you to get the watch.
Good luck and hope all turns out well.

Welcome to TRF!
Sorry to hear about this, but as stated keep all documents and have your bank sort it out for you.
Good luck!

An advantage of using a credit card is that, under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, customers who have a claim against a supplier for breach of contract or misrepresentation will generally have an equal claim against the card issuer.
Check with your card company.
I have done this in the past with with success

Everything seems to be going threw smoothly. I just talked to the company they gave me the company they bank with and a confirmation number to the refund. It was issued and they said it could take up to 30 days for them to refund the money.!!!! MAN 30 days seems like a LoOOoOoOng time for a refund. =O

I would call their bank to confirm that.

I use my Amex card for nearly everything. I know I can call them and say that the vendor is not working with me to fix the problem and they will pull the charge. They are good that way. IMO Visa and MC are not as good in that respect.

I agree concerning Amex they are the best.
Have used them for 30 years and they always work out problems.
I used to travel internationally sometimes 6 or more different countries on a trip.
When problems happen as they usually do Amex has always removed charges and straightened out. Most recently a taxi charged 3 times for same ride Amex no problem!!

I agree to buy a new watch if you want one, but why blame Rolex for a careless(but clearly honest)grey market online dealer? If you are new to Rolex why not buy from someone on this forum or go to an Authorized Dealer(AD) in your area and ask to look at the preowned(sometimes they call it 'estate' case) for rolex. I think you will find a good deal if you shop and investigate...don't know if you can see any old threads from JJ Irani and friends...but all the people on this forum emphasize investigation, and knowing the seller and his reputation...you buy the seller not the watch, they often say, and know what? it's true. so go get a nice Date Just if that's what you like.....I have a Breitling Superocean, but it will never rock my world like a rolex. good hunting!

Did you wind it? It's an AUTOMATIC WATCH!!! It probably lost some of its energy when it was shipped to you. You then need to wind it many times, then it should keep running so long as its on your wrist or on a winder. I own a few Rolexes and am looking at buying from them, so would be nice to know.

I have the same problem with my Explorer II. After I kept it in safety box for almost 2 years, it moved backward when I wind it. I bring it to my grey dealer, and he fixed it in one minute. It is now running perfectly. Any idea why it happen like that?

Hey Forgivenxsoulja,
Any further word from those guys? I know a guy who bought a President from them (he already had a Thunderbird and SS Sub) and was totally satisfied. He was initially nervous because for smaller purchases, they took credit cards, but for that baby, they wanted a cashier's check.

The post is 6 months old. The member was only here for a day or two and then disappeared.
I would take the whole thing with a massive pinch of salt if I were you.

I found a typo on their site, they spelled satellite as "satalite." I e-mailed them a correction and it bounced back as undeliverable.
