Welcome to TRF!

I would start looking at:

www.alanfurman.com , or:
www.swissluxury.com

They might have the DJ you are looking for, and if not they might be able to get if for you.

Reason why I suggest these two Internet ("Grey") sellers is that they both are said to be good, reliable sellers, and it is important to "buy the seller before buying the watch" :read:

And PLEASE ask us for advice here before indulging in buying a Rolex online! Better safe than sorry!

Good luck!

Andrea: Bo always gives good advice when it comes to Rolexes. He and others around here have both market and technical knowledge. Since you have come to a great place for sound advice, take it, and welcome! My two cents: buy in person from an Authorized Dealer(AD) or from a reputable person on this forum, or from a grey market dealer WELL known to you and others whom you know and trust. Good luck:cheers:

Any chance you can narrow that down? West Coast? East Coast etc...

Someone here might be able to refer you to an AD nearby. I know my AD gives generous discounts on Datejusts. :agree:

Andrea,

I visited Alan Furman few months ago. Be advised that they do not have the whole Rolex collection in stock, as opposed to a major AD. In other words: By all means, visit with them (they are very nice people) but do not bank on them having exactly what you want, when you want it.

Hi Andrea, I just bought both my watch and fiance's watch at Alan Furman and I was very pleased with my purchase and the service that they provide. I dealt with Daniel Curtin and he was extremely helpful with my decision. If you decide to go there, tell him that William Nguyen ("the dentist") sent you. Here is a picture of our watches.

Hello,

I am in the market for a Datejust SS w/ White Gold Jubilee.

I have a couple of questions...

Can someone tell me what is the difference between Style No: 116234wrj and Style No: 116234srj?

I can't seem to tell the difference on swissluxury.com.

Does all Authorized Dealers charges full MSRP?

Can someone recommend to some stores in the PA/NJ/DE area?

Welcome to TRF. :bye:

116234 is the Rolex reference (model) number: SS DJ; 36MM; WG fluted bezel and (new hidden-clasp style) jubilee

WRJ is some descriptive fluff added by swissluxury: White dial; Roman numeral markers; Jubilee bracelet.

So...

The difference between WRJ and SRJ is a white dial or silver dial. The rest is the same.

BTW the White Roman dial with fluted WG bezel is classic DJ. (Picture credits to Karis a.k.a. KCMO)

You should be able to get between 10% and 20% off of a SS/WG DJ at an authorized dealer--particularly if you can find NOS (new old stock). As there are sooo many configurations of DJs, this could be very hit-or-miss. There are a lot of NOS DJs out there, but finding one with your precise dial, bezel, and bracelet combination could be tough. Also, swissluxury has apparently every conceivable configuration in stock, and their prices are as good as either AlanFurman and BernardWatch, who don't carry nearly as many configurations.

Bottom line: if you're particular about your dial/bezel/bracelet combination, you might have to go grey to get the best price. If you're less particular, don't mind spending some time looking, or just get lucky, you should be able to get as good (or better) a deal at an AD.
