Look at this POS, I’ll make no reference to the site that sent me the unsolicited email with this crap.
I know it shouldn’t really bother me, but somehow this morning it niggled just me :machinegu

Yeah, it's pathetic, but one comfort is that apparantly the new GMT IIc is hard to copy. I think that the fakers won't EVER get that bezel right.
The CRB sucks, too :thumbsdow

Wow. That is a bad fake. Bad CRB, bad bezel, rough edges - feel sorry for anyone that gets taken by that.

Bo, this question might move this thread, but could you point out some of the most obvious differences. I think I see a few, but would like to know what I am missing. Between my dumb jokes I am trying hard to become more Rolex educated.

The 24 hour hand and minute hand are too long. Not to mention the lugs and crown guards.
Apparently, they used a fake sub case.
The cyclops does not seem to magnify the date well either.

No supercase
No ceramic bezel
Piss poor job of "rolexrolexrolex" engraving in the chaper ring
Crown guards are too small

Chapter ring work is incorrectly spaced, compare with this original

Ron and Sterling pointed out the most obvious tell-tale signs of that specific fake
Apart from those mentioned, the bracelet is all-matte which the real bracelet isn't. The font on the dial is wrong, as well, plus has this typical "silver" colour to it (rather than white!) and is clearly cheaply PRINTED on the dial. The hour markers are too far away from the chapter ring.
And as mentioned, the fake has no "Super-case" (this one has narrow lugs, and the satination is too coarse plus it is diagonally running).
I reported it, as well, just to let things go by the book.

If you look it appears, among other things, the hand stack is wrong.

Oh, and a REAL SS GMT IIc would also not have a GREEN date font! :dummy: :banghead: :thumbsdow

All those things +
Apart from the font quality the spacing between the lines GMT master II and Superlative Chronometer is way too close. The minute and 5 minute markers are the same thickness they should be much finer on the minute markers. Swiss Made is across 5 semi minute markers and not 3 as it should be. The lume on the hour hand is very very thin and should be the same as the minute hand.
