Hi everyone. I couldn't ride today due to the fact that there just wasn't enough time. So I took some pics of mine and my father's motorcycles. Mine is the black one and my father's is a 2003 100th anniversary Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic.

I know they're not the best but hope you enjoy them anyway.

You should come over to the UK when I'm home. I'd take you for a ride on a proper bike. As you gussed, I'm not a big Harley fan.:thumbsdow
However I remeber in the late 60's being very impressed by Cal Raybourne and his Harley during the Trans Atlantic Races.

Interesting how your father's hog has heaps of chrome and you have the matt black.
Personally, I prefer your bike, but not just because of the colour, I ride a sports bike too (Yamaha R6 (2003)) and before that I had a BMW 1000RS.
The BMW had to be the heaviest bike I've ever had and around the city it was a pain, so I don't think a freeway tourer is my kind of bike.
Also, all that chrome must take years to keep clean, give me the black any day.

Thanks but it's gloss black, not matte. Hard to tell from the above pic here are a few more.

Very nice Paul!! My brother is in a huge club on the big island of Hawaii. He rides every Sunday and loves it. It is as bad as these watches I guess.

O.K. so the tank is gloss black (I can see you in the reflection), but the pipes look matt black.:agree:
I must confess as being a little uneducated in Harleys, so please tell me what year and model and capacity is your black beauty?
Rock on dude

Thanks Lol-x You are correct. The pipes are matte black. They are ceramic coated and everything else that is usually chrome plated is powdercoted gloss black.
My bike is a 2000 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Sport. It has a 95" engine
(1550cc) and has 99ft lbs of torque and 96hp ar the rear wheel. The hp is no comparison for an R6 but good for a 95" engine. The R6 is a nice bike. How about a pic of it.

Thanks Daren. You're right it's like watches except more. You really don't accessorize your watch or make it go faster. It gives me piece of mind and lord knows how much we all need that at times.:banghead:
Do you know what youre brother rides or what club he rides with?

I like the look of that...and the bike isn't too bad either.:chuckle:
I would post a pic of "my" bike but I don't have one, but I do have a pic of what it looks like (except I have an Akropovic exhaust).

I would like to have a real life bike like mailman's little yellow and black number that appears at the end of his posts, but this bike is only going to the USA next year (2006 Limited Edition R6)
