Recently TRF reached 10.000 members and since the growth of this forum is so rapid i decided to make a thread about the future of TRF. So i am asking you how big do you think that TRF will become the next 3-5 years. Also do you think that things will change a lot?

At the current rate of growth, in 3-5 years, we'll need NASA to help us out with the complexities of the TRF server!!:rofl::rofl:

I really enjoy TRF for the friendship and daft banter that goes on between folk I know on this site. I've been away for 5 weeks and now I feel like a stranger. But I can still come in and meet new friends without having to worry that the spirit of the place has changed.
So I guess the party room will get bigger, there are more folk and there will be even more folk joining.
Why do they join? Hopefully for the same reason I did, lots of fun and a great place to learn about watches without being told "You are a dumb newbie"
I hope TRF grows to be huge so long as the fundamental bits stay:
The fun
The respect
The "its ok to ask a dumb question".
So long as those pillars stay in place, this will be the best social forum around and occasionally we chat about watches.

I think you've hit it spot on, Clive. Although TRF started as a forum about watches, with a focus on Rolex, we have gone far beyond that niche. At this point, we have become a real social gathering place with a generally common tie of an interest in watches that sort of binds us together.
As for keeping
The fun
The respect
The "its ok to ask a dumb question".
aspect of TRF alive, that's up to the membership as a whole. As long as every one of us observes those guidelines we will continue to be the best damned social networking place on the web.
Keep up the good work, guys and gals.:cheers::cheers: :clap::clap:

Hi Ed,
What's cookin'? :chuckle::chuckle:
Not much. Just taking a lunch break so I decided to check in and see what's happening.
Shouldn't you be going off to work and quit trying build your post count to see how quickly you can get to the 100K mark?:rofl:
