The 24 hours @ Daytona race just finished. I know the winners get Rolex Daytona watches, does anyone know if they they are special edition ones, and have you seen pics you could share? Thanks Edd

I'm sure all of the participants could afford to buy their own. Still I'd like to know what models they get etc.

Don't know what they get, but I see that Chip Ganassi's team won again. That's 3 straight, the last 2 with JPM.

I watched the most of the race over the weekend. According to the announcers, the winners got SS Daytona's that are incribed on the back being winners of the 2008 24 Hour's of Daytona. One announcer even made the comment that the winners watches are most likley worth 3 times what a standard TT Daytona is worth. I not sure if thats correct, the only thing one could compair it to is like having a Super Bowl or World Series ring. Of the three, I would take the Daytona hands down. After all the watch is named after the race.
