This a fake bought as real by a friend of mine off ebay,he thought he had a bargain.Till I gave him the bad news, the glass back is the real give away,
for a supposed moon watch. The only giveaway from the front I can see is the pusher collars, which don't fit the usual Omega bucket design. And the crown assembly is like from the ‘reduced’size model The movement,at first I thought it was a Lemania column wheel movement. But now think its a Chinese copy of the manual wind 17 jewel Valjoux .The case and bracelet are
finished to a very high standard, and when I compared with my real moon watch, even under 10x magnification it would fool most people.
All the chrono functions work very crisp and smooth, and it winds
as smooth as the real thing. This is getting very scary,if the basta#ds
are getting this good,at faking movements and watches. The seller on Ebay
has vanished, and the same old story from ebay, well in-fact they did want to
know.Well I think my friend has learnt a important lesson, when buying watches. :comeandge

A guy at work brought some copies back from Thailand. One was an Omega Seamaster. When we placed it side by side with my friends real one, there was no difference at all. In fact the copy felt more robust than the genuine article. Makes you wonder.

This is the first one I have seen, with a full working chrono mechanical movement.

Yes they still make both ref 3572.50. M/Wind,list price £1700,but on the genuine watch, front crystal is armoured plastic, back is sapphire. On the fake back is a mineral glass view back, front crystal is sapphire..
