As you know, Steve (Lol-X), our great and glorious leader, has just invested in an upgrade to the forum software. He has dipped into his own pocket to keep TRF running optimally, first by switching to a faster hosting server (those of you who were around before that switch will recall how the forum had started to slow down considerably due to the increased bandwidth needed to accommodate our rapid growth), and now by upgrading the software.
I think it's time for those of us who participate in this great forum to help the cause and alleviate the financial pressure on Steve.
All contributions can be anonymous. No amount is too much or too little.
Several members have asked about the members they see who have "2008 Pledge Member" displayed under their username.
Pledge Members are those generous members who have volunteered to support the forum with a donation to help defray the operating costs and to make the forum a better place for the benefit of all of us.
You can become a Pledge Member too. Just make a contribution of US$10 or more.
Contributions can be made through Steve's PayPal account at: maximprolink@yahoo.com.au (maximprolink@yahoo.com.au)
Thanks in advance to all who are able to contribute to continue to make this the best forum on the net.

Members that support the forum (2008 Pledge Members) will have the following:
1. Green Title as a visual acknowledgement for members support to the forum;
2. 180 Private Message Capacity;
3. Greater profile page functionality;
4. Ability to have their own photo albums on their profile page.
5. 10 lines in signatures (twice regular members).
6. The ability to have an animated avatar.
Maybe more as there are still some works in progress (no promises).

Very easy to use! Go to Paypal.com (https://www.paypal.com/).......under pay online, you can click on "send money to friends or family"......enter the amount you want to send and the registration only takes 2 minutes! :thumbsup:

Goto www.paypal.com (http://www.paypal.com) and create a new account. Associate a credit card or checking account to your account where money can be withdrawn or deposited to. There will be an option to send money. Just type in Steve's e-mail as the account you want to send money too.
If you want to send me money, I'll give you my Paypal account address as well. :justkiddi
For safety purposes, never access the Paypal website from an e-mail. There's a lot of phishing going on. Always goto the site through the URL only.

Steve,
Just got back from a seven-week deployment - missed this board where I was (no internet connectivity). Thanx for making this board such a great place to come and chat about watches.
