A few months ago,I picked up a 1933 Clarise Cliff Shaker for a pound.It could be worth £300--£600,well put it this way.A dealer offered me £200 so I would expect it to be worth double what he offered.But with a little bit of
research it could be worth as much as a £1000,they are now quite rare.

but they don't even hold them in a garage anymore. Now they throw all their crap out in the front yard and they call them neighbourhood yard sales. They just don't do anything for me.....

The trick with garage sales is that if at the end of the sale you have stuff you haven't sold, it usually ends up on the curb that night, free of charge.

I'm going to a garage sale at a local Italian old folks home... hoping to pick up some 1930-40s vintage panerai equipment. :agree: :rolleyes:

I've seen some nice pieces at mall antique sales, but they're always priced accordingly, unfortunately.
