A lot of new members strugle with the names of other forum members. It takes a while to find out what the real name instead of the screenname (nickname) is. Perhaps we could make a sticky with a name table? Just a proposition. Or one could add one's real name in his/her profile.

Good idea, stranger. But my guess is that there are people who would prefer to remain anonymous. That way they won't be likely to receive spam or porno e-mails from certain pot smoking Dutchmen (who shall remain nameless, but whose initials are Frans Hens). :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I understand what Ed is saying, but also have to agree with Frans on this.
I'd rather call someone by his first name rather than feel I'm talking to R2D2 or C3PO!!:dummy: :dummy: :chuckle: :chuckle:

JJ = ?
Those are my real initials. J = Jehangir (as in the famous former squash world champion, Jehangir Khan of Pakistan). The second J = Jal, my dad's name. Always used my initials in Bombay...so the initials "JJ" stuck. "Irani" is my surname.

Thats a good idea Frans. Often when I want to ad a name to a post I'm not sure of what it is and it's a pain in the arse to go through older posts to find it. I looked in edit profile but didn't see a place for my name. By adding my name to the bottom of posts made them seem to formal.

To be honest, I hate JayJay as well as my own name. Don't know why my parents couldn't have come up with something better.
