I just bought a Sumariner LV and sill haven't really begun to love it.
Once in a while i feel like I want to sell it off and then I'm all confused when i hear people say that this is better value in the long term than the submariner in rolesor which i really want to replace the LV with.
Should i keep it or let go of the LV ?
Help please!!

Why not try and source a black bezel for it? That way you get the traditional look, but with the Maxi-dial (a bonus in my opinion),and potential future collectability. Much easier than having to sell the bugger, take a loss and then paying a full price for a new Sub.

Buy what satisfies your heart. Life is too short to worry about the value of things. Buy the one that smiles back at you.

Well, I like the LV better than the black,
Terry- something that smiles back at me is important, and the LV doesn't- I'm a dentist you see!!

I am confused - from your first quote it says you really want to replace the LV with a Sub, but then you say you like the LV better than black? Unless "Rolesor" has something to do with it? I dont know what that means...

LV > Bluesy any day of the week....

But if Bluesy make you smile, than it's a no brainer what you should do.

If it's not really "doing it" for you and you can sell it without too much of a loss, I suggest you go ahead and sell it.

I agree. Bo has this silly idea that the most important thing a watch should do is tell time.:chuckle:

Sell it on.

There is absolutely no point in keeping something that you just don't like.

What was it about the LV that made you buy it in the first place?

And if you really want the blue sub, then sell the LV and get it.

Sometimes it takes having a watch to know it isn't for you. Flog it and move on i say!

Good luck. I hope the 16613 is the one for you, or else this flipping can get awfully expensive!

Excellent advice. You should be thrilled for the money you spent. Period. I would say be certain of what YOU WANT and trade, sell or whatever to get your desire.
