Nice, but not even if I had the money.
Price doesn't always ensure satisfaction.:chuckle:
But then I never spent $134,000 on a couple watches.

Fugly - there, I said it. Big, clunky, unwearable, interesting to someone who collects militaria but not that interesting to me! Can't help thinking the whole Panerai thing is Emperors new clothes  :chuckle:

I think the price may be a tad on the high side, but that's not knowing if there's a trail to the owner, listing original owner, how long he had it, etc. Then the price is okay.
Consider that last fall at an auction of vintage Panera (Christie's??) that watch went for about US$75,000... just for the watch. There was also an Egyptian navy Panny (very low production numbers) that went for close to $90,000...
There is a market for this stuff, but it's either museums or high-end collectors (and believe me, there's lots of them out there who can drop that kinda coin on that stuff like it's pocket change).
Since I live in a very Italian neighborhood, I still have hopes I'll find one of these watches or dive instruments at a garage sale for a song. Then again... maybe pigs will fly outta my butt too.

We could all chip in a few grand, then share the watches. Heck there are two of them, so every couple months we would get to wear one of them.

I saw this on another forum, very interesting but out of this world overpriced, IMHO.
Although like most Pannies, you would not see many or any others like that on the wrists of people, unlike certain other brands.
Relax, I was thinking Timex and Casio. :bullshit: :bullshit: :chuckle:
