First Aoo Suthirat welcome to TRF,to answer your question. Yes all Rolex mechanical watches can be manual wound.About 40 crown turns to fully wind it,you cannot overwind your automatic watch.

HI Suthirat,
A big welcome to TRF. As our resident expert, Padi, put it, all Rollies can be hand-wound and they are fitted with a special slipping cluth which prevents overwinding.
Please try and post some pics of your 2 watches.
Thanks - JJ:thumbsup:

Hello every one. I am new here and just read these messages. My Rolex was given to me by my Thai girlfriend. It used to belong to her late father. I do not know what model it is so I will try to describe it. It is perpetual, has got a metal, centre gold band. The face is gold with Rolex written all over. I think it is a date/time as it mentions that on the face. The 'ring' around the face has got jewels set in it. Now the question regarding winding the watch. How far do I have to pull out the crown, and which direction do I move it to wind it up. Normally it would be upwards for standard winding watches. Also, to Aoo Suthirat, Bangkok is a lovely city. The people are very nice as in other places in Thailand where I have been.
