Ironically, you do. Somehow, this flipping of my watches business has only begun in the last year or so. Before that, I would really hang on to my babies.

It all started from the time I knocked off that beautiful all black GMT-II (probably a big mistake) and then the others followed suit.

Question is am I happy for the present with my 2 watches. Probably YES. The point is both my daughters as well as Zemina have made me swear NEVER to sell of the new TT YM because they feel it's the best Rolex I've ever owned. The OMMIE is a good beater and I do like the look and heft of the watch. So I guess I'll just keep these two and see what the future brings, uh?

Quite right....Omegas have terrible resale value because they are already discounted so heavily in the very first place when purchased brand new. It's so easy to get as much as 35%....even 40% on certain models. Use the damn thing for a couple of months and what can you expect in return?

If you decide to buy an Omega, then jolly well just keep it.
