Newbie here with another question!

After collecting the lower/upper end watches for a few years now (Omega, TAG) I have finally come to a point in my life where I can afford a few of the watches that I have been longing to own for several years. As a few of you know I pulled the trigger on a new Submariner (Flat "S" one, so I could be just like JJ:chuckle: ), and now I am looking at Pannies. There is NO local dealer that I am aware of here in Iowa, so I was wondering if any of you out there could reccomend a mail order place that was reputable. Also, where is a good place to start researching the different models/bands?

Any suggestions would be great-also, If I could get a few ideas/pictures of your favorites, and a suggestion or two for a good first one that would be great!!

Thanks!!

Thanks for the response CJ-I don't really feel comfortable going mail order either, but I don't make it out of state too often, and I just wanted to see if anyone out there has done this before.

Thanks!

David, research paneristi.com to get lots of looks at Panerai porn. They have a great reference section and tons of pics. You can also check out timezone OP page to see the same.

If you don't have an AD in your state, you can order a watch from any AD or even the Beverly Hills Panerai boutique. That would get you a 100% authentic watch possible tax free. If you call them, as to speak with Chad and tell him that you heard about him through TZ Panerai.

If I can personally help you at all, please PM or email me and I will help out anyway I can.

Dman-
Thanks a ton! I will contact them on Tues. after the holiday weekend. Do you have a number for the BH location? Are they on par price wise with other locations?

Thanks!!

They are retail, just like any AD. But they usually have a bigger selection. Their number is listed on Panerai.com under California. Take a look at that site, it is good for a brands own homepage.

FYI if you call the boutique in Los Angeles they will sell to you over the phone using a credit card and ship directly to you. And they don't markup. You can find their phone number listed on the Panerai website.

Also, I was on a phone hunting trip for a Chrono model last week and called at least 10 different dealers all around the country. Every single one of them said they would ship to me using a credit card!
