So Stan and I went to an AD here in Louisville to see if we could visit them on that day!

We went to Merkley Kendrick Jewelers and found a great sales person to welcome us. Wes is a very nice guy and also very knowledgeable...he even knew our forum and stated he is lurking around and reading to learn more about Rolex. He owns one himself.

So now, since it is getting close, please let me know who would like to attend...

...I think we were in there about 3 hours!

...FYI, these wall clocks ARE the "real mccoy"...:thumbsup: They allowed me to "fondle" it and examine the quartz mvmt! HOW NEAT is that!

...as Fred has, said, they are hosting our GTG on 14 May. They are planning to have "spirits" for those of you, DanP, UncleS, etc, to partake of! For us NON-drinkers, they will have the COFFEE pot plugged in and ready!

...I truly hope that several of us can GTG for the best part of the day and enjoy some comaradre and good food!

...and of course, a LOT of talk about our hobby that we enjoy so much.

...be CERTAIN to bring your collections with you so we can share info etc!:thumbsup:

Well guys, this is it ! I'm leaving CT in about 3 hours en-route to the hotel in KY !! I can't wait !! Between the stops for fuel, food, maybe an occasional nap in the car, I should arrive in KY around 10:30-11:30AM ish. Even though the meet isn't until the 14th, I figured I'd get there a day early, check in our hotel, and check out the state !

If I swing by Merkley Kendrick Jewelers after work (around 5:30 pm), will you guys all still be there? I'd love to be a fly on the wall in a room full of Rolex enthusiasts.
