Can anyone give me a way to verify that Goldfinger Jewelers in St. Martin is a certified Rolex Retailer? From searching it looks like there isn't an official list.

Thanks

Contact Rolex via thier 1-800 number and they will gladly verify a dealer for you. Good Luck.

Look up John Bull on the web and call them, they'd know for sure, they are the sole AD for the Bahamian chain of Islands.
They have a N.American phone#. Or you can email them, they are very friendly, and will help in any way they can.:agree:

Thanks all. I ended up calling the New York Rolex office. They verified that they are an authorized dealer. Anyone seen the Datejust 116234 72200. That is what I think I'm going to purchase.

They're the only AD on the island, they have two locations. If you go to the one on Front St. in Philipsburg, ask for Amit. He was my salesman...and make sure you take them up on the offers for free beer!

Also, I'd recommend calling them ahead of time to make sure they have what you want...I gave them a list of what I wanted and whatever they did not have they got from another store so I could look at them.

I have bought 2 Rolex watches from Lucky at Goldfing. They are an authorised stockist and a lot of stock they have!!

Nice people to do business with.

I can vouch for Them. Acutally the owner is a personal friend of mine. He is into fishing (I sell fishing equipment) and I am a rolex whore so it's a match made in Heaven.

Visited him in June with the wife for a marlin tournament. Store is small but fully loaded and very knowledgable staff. Picked up a SS Daytona white face to go with my Milgauss GV he got me in Feburary.

Thank God he is not within driving distance of California or I would be in trouble!

I know you have your answer already but yeah they are certified ADs. I bought from them before. Got an OK deal on my (late) Breitling super avenger.

They don't negotiate though. I offered to buy two if they dropped the price a bit but they only offered a damned winder.

I actually got my gmt II at Goldfinger in St. Martin on French side from very attractive saleswomen. Both French and dutch side have same prices.

You are correct. They are an AD. I visited Goldfinger many years ago. They tried to get me to buy a yachtmaster when I was there. Nice store, not over the top, but the staff was very nice. Enjoy your trip to St Martin. Thanks all. I ended up calling the New York Rolex office. They verified that they are an authorized dealer. Anyone seen the Datejust 116234 72200. That is what I think I'm going to purchase.

Hi
Goldfinger is Ad in stmaarten,
they have 5 locations on this island where they have stocked more than 1500 rolex watches.
the biggest and best location is on Frontstreet 79 A and their sales person : "VIC" who helped me buy my first rolex.
He is the best and very knowledgeable.
Must see VIC for the best professional advice, prices are guaranteed cheaper by 20% compared to europe and united states.
Regards
Scorpio
