Hi all ; I am not a big thread person but I have a question for all of you Rolex Guru's..On the oyster bracelets for Sub to Sea-Dwellers. What is the matrerial the bracelets are made from. The New "Watch Time' article states that the Deep-Sea bracelet is made of the same material as the watch case ie. 904L stainless steel. Are all older models the same or just for the newer models. Love to know the answer.

here is some info - this is from another forum. the member (Scott) analyzed the bracelets of 3 diff rolexes. this is his post quoted verbatim:

"V series DSSD: 904 as advertised, no big surprise.

Z series ND sub 316 bracelet. That clears that up.

V series Anniv. Milgauss 904 bracelet. I kind of thought it would end up being 904. The only one I wasn't really certain of was the sub.

I used xray spectrometry to make the determination. It was easy and should put the issue to rest. Now if any of you guys have anything you want analyzed like say a GMTIIC or a daytona just send it to me. I am not saying you'll get it back but I promise to check it out for you :)

Scott"
