I heard there is an AD there that gives great discounts, but you have to go in person.

Brian you would really go there just to get a discount on a watch?? i might go there and come back with a missing arm...even some our troops doesnt want to go back there...:thinking:

Are you a reserve JA? Good luck. And a Explorer-II, Sub, SD, or GMT-II would all be fantastic travel companions in that part of the world. I'd recommend a NATO though--much more comfortable with all of the sweat and dust.

Tora Bora is actually pretty nice... Though, I wouldn't wear the Yamuka.

Spent some time in the sandbox in 2005! Do not wanna go back anytime soon.

When trying to broach the subject of this overseas work,
"you're joking" is the response one gets from spouse.
Let alone trying to tell your dad you are being asked to do
general contractor services under a "top secret" cloak.
It can be something of which to joke, after the right is earned.
