Is there any hope for this! I think it was used as a hammer at some point in its life :)

That's not bad at all...

Some restorers can do excellent matching of colors with new luminova hands.. The crystal replacement is easy..

Contact Bob Ridley at www.watchmakers or one of our other fine restorers - he can fix you right up.. This watch is well worth the effort and cost..

An RSC will likely not touch it..

Thanks,

The key thing is that the dial looks to be in good condition, as well as the case! Bob can match the hands to the dial and put a new pearl in the insert...or just get a NOS insert. Congrats on a great piece!

bet a new crystal, bezel pearl (tritium) and matching hands along with a nice service on movement would make it a killer.

Anybody has any idea as to about how much will this set me back, after all, I'm retiring from the FAA in 31 days, June 30th, but who's counting, hehehe, I think I deserve a good retirement gift from me. Do I need to get a second mortgage on my house? BTW, sorry if speaking about $$$ in this group is taboo!

Thank you, guys, for the nice comments,

Cuco

This can be restored to beautiful condition for under $750. Considering the value of the watch, its a very small investment.
Congratulations on an incredible watch and PLEASE keep us posted concerning its restoration!

I think it may be 2-3x that estimate depending on the condition of the movement.
