Here's a link that I've had bookmarked for a few months. I see questions all the time asking what the differences are between the GMT-Master and the GMT-Master II. This article describes the differences and has some great pics as well. Enjoy!

Thanks for that colemantis, very good read.... as is the review you wrote!

Enjoyed them both emmensely, especially the photos!

The 1675 is getting higher and higher on my wish list above the later model GMTs.

I have always thought that the early GMTs ar great looking watches. I recently had a chance to buy a 1675 from my local AD. Didn't know much about them at the time so decided to be sensible and do some research before parting with my cash. Turned out to be a transitional 16750 with matt dial - also had all boxes, papers and had just had a ful Rolex Service - all this for only 1k (Sterling). Needless to say when I raced back to the AD the watch had gone...........still getting over it.

Since then I have been keeping my eyes open for a good quality 1675/16750 with matt dial and papers etc. They appear to be getting harder to find at reasonable prices.

Many thanks for the link.
