I'm thinking about getting a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Diver GMT. I'm a dive watch nut and in a recent test in "Watch Time" of 7 luxury dive watches, it had the best time deviation of 0.5 seconds a day (compare this to the Panerai's 11.6).
I'm pretty impressed with the way the watch felt when I tried it on.
Could anyone post a review of this watch?

I love the watch but i have a question, is the time deviation that important? i never have to be anywhere in life to the exact second so if a watch runs a little fast or a little slow it does not really bother me.
I accept that it is a mechanical instrument open to a huge number of external factors that might alter the time keeping such, relative outside air temp, lubrication, magnetic enviroment etc etc etc
Is timekeeping with 5 seconds of each other really an influence as to which watch to buy? If you need something that accurate i would suggest a super quartz and if you want a good brand why not buy a Breitling!

One thing to keep in mind is that the deviation was for the very particular example they had reviewed. It will be different from watch to watch for the same model just like 0-60 times for cars.

It is an absolutely stunning watch. And yes, it is on my to-buy list as well.
FYI, I have a Panerai and I really do not care about deviation. It is a nice watch, it holds its value pretty well and the second hand is too small to notice seconds in anyway. Since my model is manual sometimes it stops because I forget to wind it and I end up setting it according to whatever time I see first (microwave, alarm clock that is 10 minutes fast, some clock in a hotel, etc.).
But do post pictures and a review about the Compressor.
