I'm so glad this new vintage forum is here! This is my WWI era 9kt rose gold ladies watch. It's a very early Rolex and is signed both Rolex and Wilsdorf and Davis. The dial has been refurbished and I'm pretty sure the crown motif was added, as the crown wasn't in use until the '20s I believe. :cheers:

i would have that watch authenticated at an RSC. According to RSC, NY, movements should be marked. According to my friend who is Rolex trained, you cannot tell on the older Rolexes. Who knows for sure? It is sure a pretty watch! See my post at 'does rolex mark its movements' for more.:thumbsup:
