Can you help me with this 3-6-9 dial, is original or refinish, is from a 5513, from 1968-69

Nice, I have'nt seen one of these dials outside of a book before, I am afraid I cannot answer your question, not a dial you see every day..:thumbsup:

I think it's an older refinish. These are uncommon, and I don't think they were ever made in post-1968 (i.e. "feet first") configuration.

5513 explorer dial is always contraversial ....

I am going to guess refinished, although nicely done, a 1968 5513 should have a meters first matte dial.

Feet first is a red flag. I believe there are several styles of this dial. The crown and font are a bit off here.:cheers:

Looks like a very nicely done refinish from a while ago.

as has been said, I don't believe that you would find that dial on a late 1968 Sub......

I really like the look of that dial, very unique 5513. Is there any history that comes with it?

I'm sure I read/heard somewhere that the Explorer dial Sub was only available to the British market.
