I recently picked up a Tudor Submariner 94010 snowflake serial #903xxx (~1980) which is in need of a bezel and an overhaul. I've been happy with Watchmakers International but am wondering if there is a Tudor specialist I should consider.

Also, it came with an Oyster bracelet 78360 / 580 which is ~8 years younger than the watch (code M8) - as well as a USA made Jubilee bracelet w/o a date code. Anyone know if this Jubilee was likely to have been originally installed in ~1980?

Thanks - Adam

I don't think any subs were originally equipped with a jubilee bracelet. It probably came with a 9315 folded link oyster bracelet.

You can buy a new oyster bracelet from RSC Dallas for about $420 but it will not be a folded link like the original (they installed a 78500 oyster with 380b endpieces on my 76100). They can also replace the bezel - no idea what that will cost but they will tell you before they do it and you can say yea or nay. They will also service it for $550, a little pricy but you will get service papers which might make it easier to sell should you later decide to do so.

good info I got a 78500 bracelet from Rolex UK for my 76100 for £210 recently, i ordered mine through an AD so worth having a chat with your local one. If you want an bezel and original bracelet TRF member Steve Mulholland may be able to help. oh and very nice find

Thanks for the responses. I spoke with Steve (bezel available) and Bob and sent it out to Watchmakers Intl. Also read through Pav's post (http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=89250) about having his Tudor Submariner 7928 refurbished. Lots of Tudor posts lately...

I'll update once its back and looking pretty.
