Hi,

My real name is Dennis and I'm a telecom technician from Houston, Texas. I just returned from purchasing my first Rolex watch; a beautiful Submariner Date model 16610. I was looking online and finally decided to buy from a local AD ( Ben Bridge) . This will most likely be my one and only Rolex and I didn't want to take any chances. Plus, I wanted good after-sale service and maintenance. So far I've very pleased......

Hi, Dennis, and a warm welcome to TRF. Congratulations on your Sub Date. As others have said, you've got a classic, quintessential Rolex there. Enjoy it and wear it in good health.

Oh, but don't delude yourself into thinking this will be your one and only Rolex. I am afraid that you have contracted the dreaded Rolexitis virus. It is chronic - but not terminal. And there is no cure for it. Trust me - this will be your first Rolex but it will NOT be your last Rolex. So accept your fate and join the rest of us addicts. You're in good company.

I must agree with Rockrolex about the Rolexitis virus -as a pharmacist I have not to propose a medicine (antibiotic are only for microbe not virus)
