this is one of the best buys i have ever made on ebay imho. A mint omega watch close to 40 years old with all boxes and papers for $580. i had put in a budget snipe when this came up.. not expecting to win it and was shocked the next day when i was told i had won it for this price!!!

Thanks for all the wishes guys :thumbsup: i cant quite believe it myself!! a similar piece a couple of months ago bought $2000!!!! i somtimes put budget snipes on these sort of pieces for low $$$ on the off chance i may strike it lucky and certainly did here! i suspect that a lot of potential buyeres were put off by the fact it would go for $$$ so didnt bother bidding :chuckle: :chuckle: not that i am complaining :chuckle: :chuckle: i have seen obvious frankensteins and fakes sell for more than $580 :dummy: :dummy:

Ditto for me too. I have always liked Omegas but Panerai have really caught my eye big time! Very hard brand to get a handle on tho, all those PAMXXX no.s etc... lots of different models. I like the PAM111 and PAM112 or a 40mm model maybe like the PAM48.. YIKES!!
