This is absolute nonsense [emoji1787]. Sell that watch immediately and exit watch collecting. You’re overthinking it. Your bottle of champagne, box and papers in a dust free environment will be no additional value to a normal box and papers that are sitting in someone’s closest.
I would imagine if we put the original spring bars and the new spring bars down, you wouldn’t be able to tell us which is which. Neither would any collector. I’ve never heard of anyone talking about spring bars and collecting. They cost nothing, and have $0 in collectibility.
