In the United States, Rolex USA issued typewritten papers beginning around 1980 until around 2007 when they converted to the warranty cards which were the new standard replacing papers world wide. There is no premium for the Rolex USA issued typed papers vs the punched papers found outside the USA.

You will also find hand hand written or typed papers issued by authorized dealers which seem to be replacement Guarantie or Guarantie/Chronometer papers which were probably used as replacements for original documents. These papers do not carry as much value as the original documents.
