Different movements will have different "feels" while winding.

Nautilus watches will each feel a little different when winding...

With the 5726 I get some winding feedback - that I can hear and feel. But it doesn't feel like it's broken. It's consistent and feels intentional. My 5726 is recent as well (new closure on bracelet)

The 5712 is probably the most "grainy" while winding.

5990/5990 are a joy to wind. I can "feel" it wind and the sound it very little if any.

The 5811 feels so smooth it's almost like it's not winding at all and I hear nothing - it very cool.

I've had some AP movements where there has been real damage and the grinding or grainy feel was much different, it felt like something was wrong. I don't "feel" that with any of the Patek movements I have owned.

I think the 5726 is underrated in any metal - Whichever you have - get it on the wrist and enjoy
