I can agree with most of what I have read. I almost see the watch as just EDC and a traveling companion on vacations. There have been times where I look down at the sub or GMT while at the beach or enjoying a sunset or Mountain View, and it just makes it a little bit more enjoyable.
I do recall one time in Milan, walking a dark street at night, and by myself that I felt I was being sized up by a group of guys. I discreetly pulled the Hulk off and put it in my pocket. Nothing happened, and I’m not sure if pocketing the watch would have saved it, but that is the only time I felt self conscious about what I was wearing.
