its a shame the clasp is made this way which is a disappointment. Thats like having a fiberglass car spoiler with a wafer thin piece of carbon fiber on top or a bunch of other analogies of "doing it half assed". Even if its 10x the 50 or 60 microns its still less than 1mm.
