If you want the aphrodesiac effects of ambergris, there are many choices out there. Pineapple fruit cologne ain't for me.

I can't answer the "why", but apparently a lot of other people like it as much as I do! I have never had so many people (male & female) ask me what I am wearing when I have on Aventus... and not in a bad way!
Different strokes. I guess that is why there are so many colognes to choose from.
I am still developing my tastes, but currently use:
- Ferragamo F <- Rarely, since my wife can't stand it.
- Prada Amber <- Sports
- Gucci Guilty <- Travel
- Versace Man <- Work
- Versace Man <- On the town
