I too am resurrecting an old thread...just picked this up yesterday...JB Champion band. Sending it off to Michael Young for refurb. Note the coronet with missing dots. Mine also has a 7 stamped on it. I have seen others with a 7, some with a 6. I am thinking this corresponds to a date code, in my case 1967. Thoughts on this?
