I had the dial on my Explorer II repainted black. The one detail I think they got
wrong is the second hand; it's white, rather thank silver(ish).

I took it to an official Rolex dealer and (after "checking it out") said it was worth
about £3000. They wouldn't accept it in px for a brand new model because of its
age (20 years old). I don't wear it much and much prefer the Explorer 1, (which
I should have originally bought).
