#2. You were buying a used watch from an online seller, but expected AD level service. You could've chosen to wear the watch the moment you received it, but you chose to send it in for a water resistance test instead. Having the seals checked every year or even every two years is pretty common, and the fact that Breitling recommends that buyers do so should come as no surprise. The 5 year warranty was in fact intact.
