There were more 5975s produced (total 1300 in all G, J, R and P) than 5650Gs but you are right a limited edition/anniversary edition is not a licence to print money. Another example was 5159G-012 (London edition) retailed for £ 69120 in 2015 but failed to meet the low estimate of $ 64100 in Phillips auction in 2018.
Yes 400 in each metal and 100 in P versus the 500 for the 5650. So not splitting hairs but the 5975G would be lower in production numbers than the 5650G. However the 5575 of which 1300 were produced is significantly above retail. So guess its down to what people like and perception of value.
