The Breitling Chronomat Evolution is automatic. As for the comments in the forum on TZ, I am not sure what to say about them. It's possible his particular watch needs repair. There also may be something he is not saying, like that he wears his watch only 8 hours a day and leaves it on the dresser for 16 hours. I have 16 automatic watches right now and have probably owned around 30 in my lifetime, the only one I had which stopped needed repair. Otherwise, I have not experienced this problem. If you like the Chronomat Evolution, I would recommend you not worry about the posts on TZ as something is being left out of the narrative, perhaps out of the ignorance of the wearer, maybe not. Most people consider Breitling to be a highly reliable brand, but every once in a while, one of the watches needs repair. It happens. Especially if you tend to wear your watch all the time, you should not have a problem.
