Well there's purists then there's purists haven't quite figured tha one out yet hehe. I don't believe there's any documentation available to the collector that would tell them what the rowatch originally had on it form the factory except maybe the papers that it came with. So no one really knows what's what anyway except Rolex. In the past you could buy from Rolex many dials for your watch if you wanted as long as it fit the movement and case they would sell it, thoses days are long gone. When I worked in a Rolex dealership back in the 80's I could buy anything from Rolex dials bands you name it but I think they saw the product getting watered down and decided to stop that practice and it's a good thing because it keeps the value of your watches higher than any other mas produced watch in the world.
