Agree. Weird thread at the very least.
14k is not much to some people, to others it's a small fortune. No way I'd be wiring that much to a foreign country
and to a receiver who is completely unknown.
I for one would not volunteer to 'help' at this point. Otherwise you may end up being tangled up in the mess. (Friend, colleague, bank accounts, and now bitcoin.... it all stinks to high heaven.)
