Panerai has some great watches, particularly the Radiomir, Radiomir 1940 and Luminor 1950 lines in 47mm. My favorites are the time-only versions that harken back to the time when Panerai had a very close association to Rolex.
Panerai has some duds, but so does Rolex. I think Rolex and Panerai complement each other very well.
